First New 2006 Ship: Holland America Line's ms Noordam Sails from New York

Holland America Line's newest Vista class ship, ms Noordam, will sail 10- and 11-day Caribbean cruises round trip from New York in the spring and fall of 2006. Cooking demonstrations and classes will take place in the Culinary Arts Center. Holland America Line has partnered with Food & Wine magaazine to enable passengers to learn about the unique foods and cuisines of their ports of call. This onboard culinary program will be presented fleetwide.

The 10-day Eastern Caribbean program visits:
  • Grand Turk, Turk and Caicos
  • Tortola, British Virgin Islands
  • Philipsburg, St. Maarten
  • St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico
The 11-day Southern Caribbean program visits:
  • Tortola, British Virgin Islands
  • St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Roseau, Dominica
  • Bridgetown, Barbados
  • Philipsburg, St. Maarten
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico

New: Costa's Largest Ship Concordia with the Largest Spa on the Sea

Costa Concordia will debut in June with a spa that will feature 55 cabins and 12 suites within it. The Samsara Spa will be a two-story, 20,500 square foot “wellness center.” It will feature panoramic ocean views offering Ayurvedic, or holistic healing, treatments.

Guests interested in exclusive spa privileges stay in rooms built within the spa. Privileges include:
  • Unlimited access to the spa and fitness facility
  • Select spa treatments and classes
  • Wellness consultation
  • Access to “wellness cuisine” in the spa’s restaurant
